PHOENIX, Aug. 1 / / - Namescape Corporation, a leader in composable Identity Management web applications for Active Directory, announces the general availability of rDirectory Version 2.0. rDirectory combines a designer mode with application templates to allow users to quickly deploy custom, secure solutions that leverage their existing Active Directory database; solutions to lower costs, secure processes, delegate IT tasks, keep organizational information accurate and publish information securely throughout the enterprise.
With this latest release, rDirectory has added new application templates and features to expand its versatility, a new themeable user interface, and an upgraded designer to make it even simpler to compose custom solutions. Namescape also announces the general availability of the Provisioning Agent for Microsoft Exchange which enables delegating the creation of mail-enabled accounts to non IT staff such as HR or Help Desks.
rDirectory extends the value of Active Directory, the database at the heart of all Windows networks which contains information about all users, groups, and computers across the enterprise.
