Overview
Rational® Professional Bundle is a comprehensive offering that includes all of the desktop tools your enterprise needs to design, construct, and test Java(TM) 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Portal, and Web Services-oriented applications on both Windows(TM) and Linux(TM) and to test .NET applications. It comes with one license and just one support contract to manage. Rational Performance Tester, a load and performance testing solution for teams concerned about the scalability of their Web-based applications, is now included with the bundle.
The bundle provides the greatest flexibility for users to install and use the tools they need to do their job. This single-purchase package has just one maintenance contract to manage and supports geographically distributed teams through a flexible, floating license model. Small, centrally located teams can use the authorized user license model.

Rational Professional Bundle V6.0 is being withdrawn from marketing. Customers with active maintenance agreements using Rational Professional Bundle V6.0 are entitled to the V6.1 release.
