The MAX Communications Server (MAXCS) 6.0 is AltiGen's next generation full-featured VoIP phone system and unified communications solution designed for businesses with support for up to 5,000 users. To increase scalability, the new VoIP switching architecture of MAXCS 6.0 utilizes standard Intel® based servers to handle all VoIP voice processing.

This release allows AltiGen's MAXCS 6.0 to operate as the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 IP PBX plug-in with native integration. This gives customers the flexibility to use Exchange 2007 as their unified messaging server to gain advance capabilities beyond standard voicemail features, such as speech recognition/control and text-to-speech playback of user emails and calendar appointments through the phone system. Native integration also gives IT managers a single point of management for all company communications for archival and regulatory compliance requirements.

Additionally, the MAX Communicator includes a fully featured VoIP softphone for remote users.
