New BAHCO® Socket and Ratchet Sets Deliver SuperTorque® Fastening Power
SCRANTON, Pa., April 29, 2003 - BAHCO® North America Inc. has introduced a new line of professional quality, BAHCO® Socket and Ratchet Sets that provide SuperTorque® fastening power, a low-profile ratchet design for easy accessibility to fasteners.
The new sets are available in five configurations, including a 14-piece, 1/4-inch drive set; 12-piece, 3/8-inch drive set; 21-piece, 3/8-inch drive set; 12-piece, 1/2-inch drive set; and 17-piece, 1/2-inch drive set.
All sockets feature BAHCO®'s exclusive SuperTorque® design that engages fastener flats rather than corners for higher torque application. Detents on all socket inner walls ensure tight, positive engagement with the drive tool in any orientation. Uniform thin-wall design eliminates weak spots and permits easier accessibility to fasteners.
Single- or double-hex sockets also allow easier access and provide more socket-to-fastener contact for higher torque. Individual sockets are clearly stamped with large size-markings enabling easy identification of socket size. Nickel-chrome plating of both sockets and ratchets provides long-lasting corrosion and wear resistance, as well as a mirror-like finish.
