QC450 Small Media Mill uses a circulation-type process whereby the flow direction is matched to the centrifugal direction. The specially designed rotor of the mill creates strong centrifugal and shearing force which, when combined with the fast circulation rate of the slurry, result in excellent, efficient
grinding with sharp particle size distribution. The mill is available with a variable frequency drive.
With a media volume of only 15 liters, the mill can efficiently process, because of its high circulation rate, batches from 50-400 gallons/200-1,500 liters. QC450 runs at a tip speed of 3,000 ft/min. A variety of materials and tank options are available.
