ELCOM ST® Slotted Brushless DC Motors Deliver High Power and Long Life

HARLEYSVILLE, PA, June 25, 2003 -- ELCOM ST® slotted brushless DC motors available from Pittman feature internal Hall sensor feedback for linear speed-torque characteristics, high starting torque, and variable speed control with appropriate control electronics. Their 6-slot lamination design promotes high power, fast acceleration, consistent performance, and long life.

ELCOM ST slotted brushless DC motors (2.3" diameter) are available in four standard stack lengths (1/2", 1", 1-1/2" and 2") and utilize high-energy neodymium-iron-boron magnets for optimal performance. Speeds up to 8000 RPM and continuous torque output up to 49 oz-in can be achieved (75 oz-in with Heat sink).

These motors are ideal for applications in a wide range of industries, including data storage, medical/biotech, semiconductor, automation, commercial aviation, hobby, and others requiring high performance and reliability.
