Aristo Introduces Its TH(A):601 CNC I/O Sizing System for High Volume / High Accuracy Requirements
Indianapolis, IN - The new TH(A):601 CNC I/O sizing system tube from Aristo Machines delivers the speed, accuracy, and capacity for superior high volume tube sizing operations. Using industry standard segmented tooling or Aristo's own custom tool designs, each of the two forming heads can expand, reduce, bead, or size tubing up to 3" diameter with a machine repeatability of .001". The operation of this twin head I/O machine is from a single user interface mounted on a swivel arm for convenient use around the machine.
As in all the Aristo A series (CNC I/O) machines, the TH(A):601 uses the unique Aristo 'FinishZero' machine program enabling quicker setups and greater use of the machine's capabilities for efficient end forming. The program features up to 4 hits (sequences of tooling movements to form the part) per part recipe, with each hit to a different 'finished' dimension enabling pre-expanding steps or other techniques for dealing with springback phenomena. The Allen Bradley SL503 based system can store up to 99 part recipes. The operator console includes a switch to select sequential or individual operation of the forming heads.
The hydraulic system on the TH(A):601 tube end former has a 20 HP Vickers integrated motor and piston pump rated to 3000 psi. Six inch (6") diameter heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders deliver over 56,000 lbs. Rexroth proportional valves and Baluff linear transducers provide excellent accuracy & faster response.
The oil cooled, sound enclosed integrated motor/pump delivers quiet performance (<75 dB). The machine layout, based on the unique Aristo 'open / narrow' principle suited to efficient workcell configurations, occupies only a 6' x 8' footprint. Valves, motor/pump and oil tank are easily accessible for ease of maintenance. A water-cooled heat exchanger is standard. The machine is plumbed for flood coolant as well.
