Sirit's IDentity MaX Arrives in Europe

ETSI compliant version of Parking and Access Control solution aimed at new market
BIRMINGHAM, UK, April 17 -- Sirit Inc. ("Sirit") (TSX: SI), a leading provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, today introduced the European (ETSI compliant) version of its market leading IDentity MaX UHF RFID reader for use in secure parking and vehicle access control deployments.
Offering superior performance characteristics, the European version of the IDentity MaX' integrated reader and antenna design operates at the 865-868 MHz band and delivers solid Automatic Vehicle Identification ("AVI") performance for single-lane read applications.
Encased in a weather-proof enclosure, weighing approximately 5.5 kg and measuring 31 centimetres by 25 centimetres, the IDentity MaX fits into the smallest installation footprints and seamlessly integrates into commercially available third party access systems. With Power over Ethernet capabilities, a single cable can carry both power and data communications making the IDentity MaX well suited for either retrofit or new facility installations. The MaX delivers read ranges of up to ten feet using the new IDentity MaXpass transponder (credit card form factor) allowing access permission without having to stop the vehicle.
