The proven 'Spiroflow' Model T4 Single Trip Bulk Bag Discharger discharges flat bottom disposable bags without a bottom spout and does not result in any product wastage or spillage, even if the product is poor flowing. A range of integral conveyors are offered to transfer discharge material to processing, storage or packaging.

System Described
The 'Spiroflow' Model T4 Bulk Bag Discharger consists of a robust frame and discharge dish with a knife to pierce the base of the bag for seam-to-seam discharging. A double membrane with dust extraction facility ensures total containment of the dust as. Options include vibration for the most stubborn products, an integral conveyor, mounting on wheels for movement around the plant and a gantry with hoist to lift bags into position.
Operation of the System
The disposable bag is lowered into the discharger by either a hoist or forklift. The bag sits on a dish deep within a frame surrounded by a double membrane that is designed to prevent any dust from escaping during discharge.
The knife can be either as a static or pneumatically driven rise and fall unit,
whichever provides for greater bag penetration for their poor flowing product.
As the knife pierces the bag, the product flows from the discharge dish into the integral transfer conveyor. It usually does this without the need for flow promotion devices that are normally needed to move material through narrow bag spouts. However, vibration of the bag holding frame and support dish is available for the most stubborn of materials!
