FREMONT, California, Oct. 2, 2003 - Bustronic Corporation, an industry leading designer and manufacturer of high performance backplanes, has announced a new power & ground only backplane in the VME architecture. The 1-slot backplane is used in Industrial applications for powering up a single card.

Often used in development settings, the 1-slot 6U backplane offers a low-cost method of powering up a VME board in a tight space. Only 10.312" long by 0.800" wide, the backplane features a four-layer stripline design. It offers superior power distribution utilizing 2 oz. of copper for the +5V and Ground planes.
