PCM-8500 Intel(TM) Celeron/P4/P4M Compact Board with 48-bit LVDS Controller, 10/100 LAN, CompactFlash® Socket, 6 USB 2.0, PCMCIA, Mini PCI, Digital I/O and TV Output
AAEON's new PCM-8500 is a Compact Board SBC with onboard CompactFlash Type II and PCMCIA sockets and six USB 2.0 ports; powered by a choice of Intel Celeron/Pentium 4/Pentium 4 Mobile processors, depending upon the version of the board. The board can accept Pentium 4 Mobile processors up to 2.4GHz or Celeron/Pentium 4 processors up to 3.06GHz, thus meeting a wide range of high-speed application requirements.
The PCM-8500 successfully employs Intel's advanced 82845GV chipset, and the board supports Intel Hyper-Threading Technology giving you the best overall Pentium 4 processor performance available. The board also provides high memory capacities up to 1 GB DDR SDRAM (DDR 266/333) with a single socket. A single IDE channel supports two UDMA100 devices.
In addition to its powerful computing engine, the board's full function design includes such features as a chipset integrated 2D/3D graphics engine with AGP 4x bandwidth, six built-in USB 2.0 ports and an onboard CompactFlash® Type II socket and a PCMCIA socket. The PCM-8500 has a 48-bit dual channel LVDS controller for LCD displays allowing simultaneous display and dual view functions.
Finally, the board has an onboard 10/100Mbps Ethernet controller, Mini PCI slot, PCI slot, Digital I/O ports and a NTSC/PAL TV output function for additional display versatility.
