This innovative solution, built on Cypress's trusted SUPREX® technology, is used to extend the distance between any two access control readers and a controller. With the capacity to span up to 10,000 feet, the long-range DUPREX eliminates the need for additional controllers and is ideal for applications where hard-wiring is time consuming and costly.
Available with weather-proof enclosures, Cypress's long-range DUPREX is designed for easy indoor or outdoor installation, and provides immediate feedback from on-board diagnostics. The DUPREX is ideal for multi-location organizations, including open complexes and long distances. It features alarm output from the central unit, immediately indicating power or communication loss with the reader at the remote unit.
This newest addition of DUPREX continues to eliminate interference, ensuring that the reader's data will arrive intact through "real world" noise, transients, and other adverse line conditions. Reader technologies include Wiegand readers using swipe, insertion, and proximity formats (8 to 200 bit), and Magnetic Stripe readers using swipe or insertion (up to 253 bits).
