New Sensor Signal Conditioning Line for Bridge Sensors
September 22, 2005 - Servoflo Corporation of Lexington, Massachusetts is pleased to announce the ZMD 31010 and ZMD 31050 sensor signal conditioners. These products provide digital compensation of sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature compensation, and linearization.
The benefits of the ZMD31010 and ZMD31050 include no need for external trimming components, PC controlled configuration and calibration, and high accuracy of ±0.1% SFO from -25°C to 85°C. The ZMD31010 has a quick and precise single pass calibration and is suitable for battery-powered applications with a small SPP8 package. The ZMD31050 interfaces to a PC via a digital bus interface and is housed in either a SSOP16 or die package.
The low cost ZMD31010 has output options of either a ratiometric analog voltage, absolute analog voltage or a one-wire interface. The ZMD31050 offers outputs of 0-5V, 5-20 mA, PWM 12C SPI or a one-wire interface.
An evaluation kit is available for both models, which includes a calibration board, sensor signal conditioning samples, software and technical documentation.
Typical applications include industrial process control, data loggers, filter and refrigerant monitoring in appliances, PDAs, mobile phones, wristwatches, and medical applications such as blood pressure meters and sleep apnea monitors.
Sold in the United States and Canada by Servoflo Corporation, the ZMD 31010 is priced under $2.75 in quantities over 1,000 pieces and the ZMD3150 is priced under $6.50 in quantities over 1000 pieces.
