Multiple 5U chassis can be Ethernet linked for high channel requirements. The compact unit features high performance capabilities powered by the onboard Pentium® IV processor running on the Windows(TM) operating system. A user-friendly graphical user interface enables fast, efficient configuration setup. Complete end-to-end system calibration takes only seconds, significantly reducing test time and assuring data system accuracy. Readily visible per-channel status indication enhances precise operator control of the system. The DTX-5000 provides interconnections for both discrete outputs and DataMAX(TM) recorder interconnections. Each individual channel has a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter and digital signal processor. The DTX-5000 Series plug-in modules feature wideband frequency response; 100 kHz for the 5000 Series modules (400 kHz is available on the 6000 High Performance Series modules). Isolated power supplies and shielding assure very low noise performance. Plug-in modules are available for measurement of voltage, strain, temperature, acceleration, and frequency to voltage conversion. Each type has the features and functionality necessary to permit operation with virtually any sensor source. Additionally, there is no physical limitation with the plug-in modules as any card can be installed in any slot.
