Signal Conditioner converts SDI-12 input to analog output.

Press Release Summary:

Signal conditioning module, Model 4105, provides analog output as 0-1 mA, 4-20 mA, or 0-5 V. Connection to data transmitter or measurement system consists of 10-33 Vdc continuous power, ground, and read signal from 5-33 Vdc that enables analog output. With read signal enabled, power consumption increases to sum of current output and additional 4 mA max. With read signal disabled, current drops to less than 2 mA.

Original Press Release:

Model 4015 SDI-12 Input to Analog Output Converter

Grass Valley, CA (16 December 2005) - High Sierra Electronics, Inc. has expanded their line of ancillary equipment to include the Model 4015, an SDI-12 to Analog Output Converter.

The Model 4015 is a signal-conditioning module that converts a SDI-12 input to an analog output. It does this for a signal parameter (i.e., on a pressure transducer with a temperature sensor, the output would be for pressure only).

The analog output can be specified as 0-lmA, 4-20mA or 0-5V. The connection to the data transmitter or measurement system consists of continuous power (10 to 33 VDC), ground, and a read signal (5 to 33 VDC) that enables the analog output. With the read signal enabled, power consumption increases to the sum of the current output (20mA maximum) and an additional 4mA (maximum). With the read signal disabled, current drops to less than 2mA.
