The Cutlass Fixed-Angle Side-Entry Mixer offers a 10° fixed position that effectively handles homogenizing, blending and temperature uniformity of crude oils and refined products in storage tanks. The Cutlass Swivel-Angle Side-Entry Mixer provides 60° rotation to effectively scour the tank floor and keep sediment, water, solids, etc. in suspension. It also has the capability to meet standard requirements for blending.
Both mixers feature a durable electric motor with long-life bearings, rugged transmission for trouble-free operation, superior PM Lancer Prop(TM) Impeller to produce the mixer's unmatched fluid stream dynamic and unique tank shutoff device for zero leakage. Standard Flowserve mechanical seals and a variety of seal options for applications such as crude oil, distillates, refined oils and asphalts are available along with
tank adaptor (manhole/nozzle) flanges.
