Inovis Completes Multi-Year Service Quality Initiative with New Inovis MESH Platform

100 percent of Customers Are Live on New Inovis Multienterprise Expert Services Hub (MESH) Platform with Industry Leading Availability and Proven Disaster Recovery Capabilities

ATLANTA, Aug. 6 -- Inovis today announced that it has migrated its entire customer base to its new Multienterprise Expert Services Hub (MESH) platform. Built on a newly architected infrastructure and hosted in a world-class data center, the Inovis MESH platform marks the completion of a two-year initiative to systematically upgrade all architectural and physical elements of its network and consolidate all customers onto a single, modern platform. With the Inovis MESH platform, Inovis is delivering industry-leading quality to support its customers in managing their respective business and trading communities. Now nearly 315,000 trading relationships are benefiting from significant improvements in reliability delivered by the Inovis MESH Platform.

The new Inovis MESH platform's systems and processes are designed to be 100 percent available and the underlying data center is designed to operate at 99.995 percent availability. The data center availability improvement represents a shift from 99.95 percent to 99.995 percent or a 90 percent incremental increase in available service time. In addition, the Inovis MESH platform is architected to enhance failover speeds, automation and overall redundancy. A separate geographically diverse and synchronized US-based data center is operational as the fully capable Disaster Recovery (DR) site, and all DR capabilities have undergone rigorous testing, including live customer rollout.

"The uninterrupted and secure flow of data is critical for managing business communities effectively," said Steve Cochran, Chief Technology Officer of Inovis. "We understand that the quality and availability of information networks have a direct effect on the bottom line of our customers. In completing our meticulous service improvement program with a well executed migration of our customer base, we now provide true high availability and proven disaster recovery capabilities for all customers large and small. With the move to the Inovis MESH platform, Inovis is continuing its commitment to provide the best solutions available to meet the evolving, on-demand needs of our business community customers."

"Uptime is everything in the transportation industry, and our relationship with Inovis delivers consistent uptime in our supply chain operations," said Glenn Nystrom, EDI Team Leader, International Truck and Engine Corporation. "We operate a large dealer network in the industry, which includes vehicles, parts and service, so our interaction and collaboration with our broad business community is critical to keeping our customers on the road and driving the transportation that drives commerce."

Customers can be confident that data and managed files will be delivered with high levels of security, reliability and compliance. With enhanced visibility and supplier score card capabilities built upon the Inovis MESH platform, customers can have instant access to information on the status of transactions across the supply chain -- setting a foundation for superior customer and partner collaboration.

In late June, Inovis completed the seamless migration of its customer base to the MESH platform, which operates in a TIA-492 Tier IV data center. The significant experience base and investment in planning, testing and validation prior to the migration paid off for Inovis' customers immediately.

In addition, Inovis successfully completed the Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70, Service Organizations, Type II compliance audits. The SAS 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and confirms that a services organization has completed an in-depth audit of its information technology and operational processes.
