ABB Launches "ABB Reliability Fingerprint"
New service quickly identifies opportunities to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness, maintenance performance and reliability culture.
Westerville, Ohio, September 4, 2008 - ABB, the leading power and automation technology company, today announced the release of the ABB Reliability Fingerprint, a new consulting service from ABB Reliability Services. The Fingerprint is a two-week assessment focused on improving site productivity, reliability practices and maintenance costs. The service identifies and documents opportunities for enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness, maintenance performance and reliability culture.
Data is collected on-site the first week, followed by offsite analysis and reporting. The site is benchmarked against leading process industry and manufacturing sites, using ABB's World-Class Reliability® best practices database.
