Beijer Electronics is a pioneer in the development of HMI products (Human Machine Interface). For many years, Beijer Electronics' CIMREX series of operator terminals has enjoyed great success internationally, thanks to superior functionality and user-friendliness. This product offering has now been expanded to include CEZAR, a PC-based HMI system, and the Beijer Electronics OPC Server.
The Beijer Electronics' OPC Server provides more than 55 protocols for the leading brands of control systems and automation equipment. The OPC server can be connected to an unlimited number of devices simultaneously, using one or more protocols.
Key features of the Beijer Electronics' OPC Server include: import and export of tag list; tag generator for creating a defined number of consecutively numbered tags quickly; scripting tag values and scaling. A built-in DDE server communicates with the same tag database that the OPC server uses. Different brands of automation equipment support different features. Some of the protocols in the Beijer Electronics' OPC Server support Ethernet Tunneling and modem. There are protocols for inverters and controller systems from the major suppliers on the market. Examples of drivers in the Beijer Electronics' OPC Server are Modicon Modbus, Siemens and Allen Bradley. Whenever a new protocol is available, it is easily downloaded from within the software.
