Simtek Samples High-Speed Serial 1 Mbit nvSRAM With Real-Time Clock



COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Feb. 22 -- Simtek Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: SRAM) , a global provider of advanced nonvolatile semiconductor memory products, today announced initial shipments of its STK18TA8, which incorporates a 1-Mbit nvSRAM and Real-Time-Clock with a high speed Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).

The industry-standard SPI interface has become popular in microcontrollers, memories and other integrated circuits used in a wide range of consumer, industrial and automotive applications. System designers can use a "building-block" approach while combining components with this standard interface.
