STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich - Serapid, Inc., a leading supplier of stage technology, produced a telescopic lighting system selected for use at Superbowl XLIX.
Commissioned by Filmwerks International, a company specializing in power, lighting and staging for high-end events, Serapid portable theatrical masts were a natural fit for use at the event.
The easy-to-use system is comprised of two masts, each easily rolled into place, ideal for the quick changes of this event. The masts reliably and safely lift 1000 lbs. of lighting equipment from a 4 foot easy-to-install level up to 15 feet with synchronized movement controlled remotely by a pendant control. The masts are hard anodized for all weather use. The stable, balanced base safely holds the load weight with minimal deflection providing extra confidence in a busy arena setting.
The masts were used for a number of Superbowl events, including Media Day and the game day itself. Filmwerks, who, as stated on their website, "boasts the most advanced and reliable equipment available", is a welcome addition to Serapid's portfolio of clients.
