This patented system conforms to uneven surfaces to provide a positive seal that eliminates film tails and prevents unraveling during handling and shipping cycle.
Film tails can cause significant problems during handling and shipping. Photoeyes on automated systems may misread the size or location of the load. Loads can be subject to snags and safety issues during handling. Film tails unraveling during shipping can result in product damage and can create many safety issues. Lantech's Film Sealing System can solve all of these problems.
The Lantech Film Sealing System focuses heated air on specific points for a secure seal every time. Composed of eight independent seal blocks, the flexible sealer head conforms to uneven surfaces to produce several strong seals. The system operates effectively in extreme temperature or humidity conditions without adjustments. And, the Film Sealing System eliminates the potential for film droop by sealing the film before the cutting and wiping process.
The system offers improved safety when compared to traditional heat sealers. Heating elements are totally enclosed with no exposed burn hazards. The Lantech Film Sealer operates using temperatures more than 40% lower than traditional heat sealers to provide consistent sealing without damage to the product or stretch film.
