Skyjack to Introduce New Compact Rough Terrain Unit at the 2006 Rental Show in Orlando, FL



Guelph, Canada - December 9, 2005- Skyjack lnc. (www.skyjackinc.com) the world's leading scissor lift manufacture is proud to introduce the newest addition to its rough terrain (RT) scissor lift family. The Compact 6826 and 6832 RT models will debut at the American Rental Association's (ARA) 2006 The Rental Show at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, February 6-9, 2006, booth number 2054.

Skyjack's new 6826RT and 6832RT models boast a maneuverable 68" wide stance with working heights of 32' and 38' respectively. Coming standard with a powerful dual fuel engine, 4WD, and 5' roll out extension deck; options such as: diesel engine and independent leveling outriggers to name a few, the new Compact RT models make no compromises to the famous tough and reliable reputation of Skyjack rough terrain scissor family.

Key standard features include:

o Drivable at full height with deck extension fully extended

o Up to 50% gradeability

o Tilt out hydraulic manifold

o Cross Over Symmetrical 4WD

o 90 degree swing out engine tray

o Low profile foam filled tires

While having a number of engineering upgrades, the 2 new models hold true to Skyjack's philosophy of keeping units as simple as possible for ease of maintenance. The newly designed manifold tilts out for easy access and the engine swings out completely for service via a single quick release latch." explains Dave Stewart, Skyjack's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

The new Compact RT Series will address customer demand for a low cost, compact, versatile rough terrain unit. "This marks the birth of a new generation of Skyjack, it has all of the performance that users have come to expect with all of the industry leading reliability, durability and serviceability, at a price that will help combat today's competitive rental rates," comments Mr. Stewart.

Earlier this year Skyjack introduced the 8243 and 8850 Mid-size rough terrain scissor lifts. With work heights ranging from 49 -56 feet, the new mid-size RT's offer unsurpassed performance and efficiency. With standard 4WD, dual fuel engine, 4.5' roll out deck extension and capacities up to 1000lbs. the new Mid-size rough terrain units are big on productivity.

While the Mid-size 8243 and 8850 RT models are currently available from Skyjack, the new Compact 6826RT and 6832RT models will be available in the latter part of Q1 of 2006 for the North American market and start of Q3 of 2006 for the European CE version.
