Developer's Kit for Densitron's New ConnectBus®-II Single Board Computers
Santa Fe Springs, March 3, 2004; The new developer's kit for Densitron's ConnectBus-II single board computers includes everything needed to get up and running in minimal time. It provides a self contained development station in a rugged chassis that gives the development engineer access to all the powerful features of Densitron's newest products with almost zero setup time.
Truly ready-to-run straight out of the box, the kit includes the computer board, hard drive, DVD drive, power supply, back plane, and all the necessary cables. Simply connect a monitor and keyboard and turn on. The hard drive boots immediately into either Windows® XP Embedded or Linux and the user can browse a host of useful software including sample code, drivers, benchmarks and demonstration programs. The development engineer can start work immediately without having to integrate hardware, install an operating system and configure software drivers. Evaluation, demonstration and product development begin as soon as the unit is turned on.
The sturdy developer's kit can easily be moved from lab bench to conference room, and the custom-designed chassis avoids any mishaps by keeping all the components mounted safety. The kit is designed for use with Densitron's family of ConnectBus II computer boards including the new DPX-114 and DPX-115 boards, as well as future products in this line.
The ATI MOBILITY(TM) RADEON(TM) video graphics system that is available with the new computer boards breaks new ground in embedded computing, and enables state of the art 3-D graphics with advanced capabilities such as dual independent displays, wide format displays, digital LCD and plasma screens. The developer's kit allows access to all the video graphics capabilities with connectors for multiple analog and digital DVI monitors, as well as a built-in DVD drive.
