SAPIEN Scripting Gurus Take to the Road to Offer Windows Automation Training to IT Professionals
NAPA, Calif--ScriptingAnswers.com LIVE!, a training and education division of SAPIEN Technologies, Inc., the makers of the scripting software PrimalScript®, today announced a series of expert-led training sessions in scripting technologies to be held in nine cities during the next six months.
Authors and scripting "gurus" Don Jones and Jeffery Hicks will offer an intensive program of study comprised of classes in Windows PowerShell(TM) and VBScript scripting technologies. A five-day "Administrative Scripting Master Course" will cover the entire curriculum and will include a two-day "Windows PowerShell Class," a two-day "VBScript Essentials" class, and a one-day course in "Advanced VBScript." The three separate programs can also be taken individually. Other topics will include: information on Windows PowerShell security, Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), and the Active Directory Services Interface (ADSI). The full five-day course will be made available twice in Las Vegas; the two-day Windows PowerShell class will also be available in eight additional cities.
The training classes are designed to give practical, hands-on scripting and automation skills to IT administrators of all levels; beginners to advanced users who complete the courses will be able to immediately apply their new skills as real-world solutions to their scripting and automation needs. SAPIEN will supply class materials (exclusive of software) and, in the Master Course and PowerShell course, a complimentary copy of the Don Jones/Jeffrey Hicks book, Windows PowerShell: TFM as a follow-up reference and guide.
