Samtec, Inc. Announces the Creation of Interconnect Signal Integrity Models for Agilent Technology's Advanced Design System (ADS) RF Electronic Design Automation Software
Models can be downloaded free of charge from Samtec's website at www.samtec.com. Models are packaged in connector family libraries making them easy for ADS users to install and use. Single-line and multiple-coupled-line models for numerous stack height connector sets are included in each library.
Libraries currently available include many Samtec high speed board-to-board interconnect solutions such as Q Series®, Q2(TM) Series, SEARAY(TM), SamArray® and DP Array(TM).
Agilent EEsof ADS (http://eesof.tm.agilent.com/products/ads_main.html) is used by system designers to analyze and verify high speed serial links such as PCIe, SATA and Rapid I/O. Designers can compare signal integrity performance of different connector types, pin mappings, and stack heights, and optimize system performance early in the design process.
