B T International : AMX Series Autonomous Non-Contact Safety Switch

Norstat introduces the newest generation of autonomous safety switches, The BTI Furtif AMX series. The Furtif AMX utilizes a double interactive decoding system to obtain the highest level of safety possible and is the worlds first compact sensor that detects its own safety contact failure and then automatically interlocks to fail-safe mode to disable machine operation. The AMX series also features large sensing and misalignment distances (up to 12 mm) to eliminate alignment problems associated with some mechanical keyed safety switches. It's small size, multi-position mounting points and pre-wired cable make BTI non-contact switches a favorable choice to replace conventional keyed type mechanical switches or plunger type limit switches. Housings are available in polycarbonate ( IP 67 ) or stainless steel ( IP 68 ) making them ideal for harsh environments. Standard cable length is 3 meters and M-12 connectors are available.
