VACUUMSCHMELZE Introduces New Product Series for ISDN S0-Modules with High Voltage Requirements

Hanau / Frankfurt - VACUUMSCHMELZE GmbH & Co. KG (Hanau) introduces a new family of SMD S0-Modules. Advanced magnetic cores based on VAC's VITROVAC(TM) alloys gave VACUUMSCHMELZE the possibility to remarkably reduce clearly the size of the S0-Modules. So one of the world's smallest S0-Module including Common Mode Choke with high voltage requirements was born.

VAC reduced the used area and volume of the SMD S0-Modules of less than an area of 306 mm2 and a volume of 2350 mm3. With this reduction of 33% to the standard series, the new product family was developed in a small SMD standard casing. The Mini S0-Modules are available with several turn ratios and including a common mode choke available with different inductance values.

All the S0-Modules of this series are tested with high voltage values of 3kV. They are fully RoHS compliant and EN60950 VDE certificated for high safety standards. All Mini S0-Modules have an excellent transmission performance and passes all standard-impedance masks. This meets the customer's demands for high performance and safety for new smaller high end ISDN applications.
