Web-based Fleet Management Tool Provides Business-Critical Information on Fleet Activity and Performance for Customers
MIAMI, Aug. 21 /Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE:R), a global leader in transportation and supply chain management solutions, is launching Ryder FleetCare, a Web-based fleet management tool that provides customers with access to valuable information regarding the operation of their fleets. After successful testing in real-world conditions with Ryder customers, the Company has initiated a U.S. rollout through the fourth quarter of 2006.

Ryder FleetCare offers secure, immediate Internet access to a variety of performance metrics such as vehicle maintenance schedules, service calls, vehicle rental activity, fuel purchases and more. Reports can be customized and sorted in a variety of ways to analyze information by location or vehicle.
