Catcher Inc. Announces Second Generation Product for Rugged Multi Application Computing Platform
LEESBURG, VA, July 17 -- Catcher Holdings, Inc., (BULLETIN BOARD: CTHH), a leading developer of rugged mobile computing solutions, released the second generation of its flagship product, the CATCHER(TM) Command and Control Application platform. Catcher developed its newest version based on market feedback from its first generation device.
The new device will feature Intel processors and chipsets, selected due to Intel's leadership in components for the mobile computing segment and will feature other important design modifications from first generation models.
The new CATCHER(TM) is an enhanced video/voice/data communication platform. It delivers higher performance and lower weight with a larger display than the first generation and features the company's patented "all-in-one" design, incorporating digital audio/video, GPS-based location, biometric sensors, fingerprint scanning and rapid communication technologies. Its light-weight rugged construction makes it the ideal "all-in-one" unit for command and control of any field personnel in extreme conditions. This patented computer is fully ruggedized and moisture resistant.
Operating as a mobile applications platform, the CATCHER(TM) combines powerful computer communications and biometric features with command and control capabilities which enable remote observation and communication, biometric management of enrollment, identity management and authentication as well as verification for enterprise security and operations professionals. The CATCHER(TM) combines these technologies in a single portable device to capture and communicate live audio and video, eliminating the need for users to carry the multiple devices previously required.
