Original Press Release:

Rugged New 4U Chassis Features Ultra-Bright LCD

The new steel RDV chassis from CyberResearch, Inc., features an ultra-bright 350-nit 8.4" LCD monitor. Pixels are spaced only 0.213 mm apart, so you get crisp, clean images every time. The intelligent monitor complements front access to critical controls and four drive bays. A lockable aluminum front door controls access.

Now you can take advantage of the rugged new CyberResearch(r) RDV chassis with built-in 8.4" active-matrix LCD display. The ultra-bright 350-nit screen treats you to ultra-sharp images with a pixel pitch of only 0.213 mm. This intelligent screen simulates resolutions up to 1024 x 768 pixels, within the limits of the 800 x 600 pixels physically available. All four front-access drive bays mount on rubber pads to resist shock and vibration.

For racks in public locations, the locking aluminum front door keeps unauthorized hands off of the controls, while allowing full view of the display, power LED, and hard-drive activity LED. When the door is open, you have full access to the four external drive bays, OSD controls, power switch, and reset switch. A lockout switch for the keyboard makes sure that only authorized personnel can enter commands or data.

In addition to rack-mount RDV chassis - now shipping from stock - CyberResearch, Inc., also offers complete PCs, as well as CPU cards, monitors, data-acquisition, and motion-control systems. For more information, call Joe Tetreault at 800-341-2525, or visit http://www.cyberresearch.com/chassis.
