RTD Input Signal Conditioner is field-configurable.

Press Release Summary:

Action Pak® Model AP4151-2000 RTD temperature input 4-wire transmitter utilizes TouchCAL(TM) technology for electronic microprocessor stability. Socket-mount, AC-powered device can be configured with on-board DIP switches and accepts 3-wire platinum, copper, and nickel RTDs. Inputs can be set for specific alpha curve, while output can be linear to input temperature signal or set for no linearization. Outputs are configurable for 0-5 or 0-10 Vdc or 0-20 or 4-20 mA.

Original Press Release:

Eurotherm, Action Instruments Announces New, Field Configurable, RTD Input Signal Conditioner with TouchCAL(TM) Technology, Model AP4151-2000

SAN DIEGO, CA - Eurotherm, Action Instruments group announces immediate availability of the new Action Pak® Model AP4151-2000, an RTD temperature input four-wire transmitter with TouchCAL(TM) technology. This field configurable, socket mount device accepts most RTD inputs and can be configured with on-board DIP switches.

The AC powered model AP4151-2000 is capable of accepting 3-wire platinum, copper and nickel RTDs. Inputs and outputs are field configurable via the DIP switches. Inputs can be set for the specific alpha curve. The output can be linear to the input temperature signal or can be set for no linearization. The outputs can be field configurable, for either 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC, 0-20mA, or 4-20mA.

TouchCAL(TM) technology, a standard feature on the AP4151-2000, replaces the mechanical and thermal variability of potentiometers with the electronic stability of a microprocessor. This enables greater than 90% adjustment of zero and span and carries with it a string of benefits. It provides a reliable, digitally stable circuit ensuring better long-term performance and reliability. Calibration is as quick and easy as inputting the desired maximum and minimum signal levels and pressing a recessed button to store the values in non-volatile memory.

The AP4151-2000 is supported by a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Additionally, the AP4151-2000 is designed to exceed UL and CSA requirements (approval pending).
