ECS-1 Mini Rotating Scanner

The ECS-1 Mini Rotating Scanner was designed for airframe fastener and bolt hole inspections. The ECS-1 scanner excels in finding indications of defect amplitude and circumferential location. Minute flaws are easy to see when this scanner is coupled with the UniWest US-454 EddyView® instrument, cable and rotating probes.

A high scan rate of 1500 RPM assures full surface coverage at normal insertion rates and the frequency range of 30 Khz-6MHz exceeds most requirements. This scanner weighs less than 8 ounces and is under one inch wide at the rotating head for easy access into narrow confines.

Complete portability of this system makes it ideal for airframe and engine manufacturer applications.
