Rotary Vane Pumps feature modular design.

Press Release Summary:

Rotary Vane Pumps are assembled with refinished, precision parts, allowing for vacuum of 600-700 mbar, and 800 mbar. Corresponding flow rates are 5-6 lpm and 25 lpm. Reversible models are available; pressure and vacuum sides are switched by reversing motor polarity. Pumps can be operated at different voltages and controlled continuously via distribution voltage. Applications include pick and place operations, welding, medical devices, and food packaging.

Original Press Release:

The New Rotary Vane Pump Series from Thomas Provide High Performance in a Modular Design

The new rotary vane pumps from Thomas feature a modular design, making them easy to customize for virtually any application. Their low profile and high performance characteristics make them ideal when high intermittent pump capacity is needed, but a limited amount of space is available.

Reversible models are also available. Pressure and vacuum sides are switched by simply reversing the motor polarity - no additional valves are needed. The pumps can be operated at different voltages and controlled continuously via the distribution voltage.

All rotary vane pumps are assembled with specially refinished, high-grade precision parts, allowing for a relatively high vacuum of 600 to 700 mbar or as high as 800 mbar. The corresponding flow rates are 5 to 6 lpm and 25 lpm. Before delivery, each pump is adjusted to its optimum working point and is performance tested.

Thomas rotary vane pumps are well suited to applications ranging from pick and place operations to welding to medical and household devices to food packaging.
