ITW Muller Introduces Octopus "C" Series Automoatic Rotary Ring Stretch Wrapper

-Entry level, compact design loaded with benefits-

Arlington Heights, IL — ITW Muller, a leading manufacturer of both innovative stretch wrap equipment and high quality stretch wrap film, introduces a reliable and economical solution for wrapping pallets with its new Octopus “C” automatic rotary ring stretch wrapper. Although compact in size, the new wrapper is versatile enough to handle a variety of applications. Its aluminum frame structure further provides dependable construction with minimal maintenance required.

“We built the “C” series to give customers all the benefits they’ve come to expect from our Octopus rotary ring stretch wrap machines in a smaller footprint,” says Michael Klear, Sales and Marketing Director, ITW Muller. “It takes up less space than most other wrappers and is easy to install--all while providing optimal load containment and minimizing film usage.”

The Octopus “C” also comes equipped with ITW Muller’s patented Easy S Film Carriage which enables simple film loading, maximizes pre-stretch performance and minimizes wear. Compared to traditional “W” wrap systems, the positive contact of the “S” wrap pattern improves pre-stretch levels, can better handle a variety of films, and significantly lowers the overall cost of ownership.

The machine can wrap up to 40 loads per hour depending on load size and wrap pattern.  With options like OctoFACE operator interface touchscreen, maintenance ring locking, low film alarm and external grace port, the “C” series Octopus has many of the same versatile and performance enhancing features of higher speed models.  Modular components like a load stabilizer, roping device and pallet lift device are also available, making the machine easily adaptable to a wide range of applications.

“We are always looking for ways to meet growing market demands,” says Klear. “The Octopus “C” is ideal for manufacturers looking to increase productivity without compromising space and allowing the customer to stay within budget restraints.”
