Orbitform's new Model B-310 Pneumatic Orbital Riveting Machine provides visual status and precise adjustment of the orbital forming process.
The versatile Model B-310 fastening station combines power with precision. Available with real-time process monitoring and process control, the machine orbitally forms parts up to .312" (7.92 mm) diameter or an equivalent area in tube, square or other form.
Typical cycle time is less than three seconds for everything from mild steel to hardened metals. (Aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, lead, zinc and stainless are just some of the materials suited to this process, as are composite plastics.)
Orbitform's Model B-310 is ideal for high volume applications and is a cost-effective production solution. It has an adjustable tool stroke, from .06 inch (1.52 mm) to 1.75 inches (44.45 mm) in .001 inch (0.03 mm) increments. Standard throat depth is six inches (152.4 mm). Maximum downward force is 2120 pounds at 100 psi pneumatic.
