BarTender 9.4 Released
Includes two-sided labels, improved Rich Text editing, and live database view
Bellevue, WA, USA - Seagull Scientific has released version 9.4 of its BarTender label and RFID software. New features include support for two-sided label design, allowing BarTender to take full advantage of duplex-capable printers. BarTender 9.4 also supports a new, much more advanced "Rich Text" object. WYSIWYG formatting functions support different fonts, styles, highlighting, strikethrough, merge fields, bulleted lists, numbered lists, indenting, multiple columns and paragraphs, superscripts, subscripts, and more. New "live database" view and navigation allows users to see their external data merged into their labels at design time.
The new Embedded Revision Log feature, which can save a detailed history of label format changes into the document (BTW file), can be used by itself or with BarTender's Librarian companion application. Two additional SDKs, one each for BarTender Librarian and the BarTender System Database, allow other software to directly access information about past print jobs, document versions, and even reprint past label jobs.
