Subminiature Microwave Connectors Compact Designs Feature Snap-On Interfaces
A new line of MCX and MMCX series RF microwave connectors for automotive, GPS, test and measurement, wireless, and similar surface mount applications is being introduced by TRU Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.
TRU Subminiature MCX/MMCX Series Connectors are designed for SMT applications from dc to 6 GHz requiring compact, lightweight, and durable connectors. Featuring snap-on interconnects rated for 500 mating cycles, they save PCB space over SMB connectors while maintaining the same electrical properties.
Constructed of brass bodies, brass gold-plated male contacts, beryllium copper gold plated female contacts, and Teflon® insulators, these 50 ohm TRU Subminiature MCX/MMCX Series Connectors provide 750 VRMS dielectric withstanding, 1.15:1 VSWR @6 GHz, and conform to CEECC 22220 standards.
