Cinch BBF(TM) Connector Offers Superior Performance In An F-Style RF Interface

Lombard, IL - July 14, 2004 - Cinch Connectors today announced the introduction of its improved family of BBF(TM) (Broadband Frequency) connectors. Designed to function efficiently at frequencies ranging from 750MHz to 1.5GHz, the improved family of BBF(TM) connectors are ideal for high speed FTTU, Hybrid Fiber Coax networks, Cable Access Nodes and Network Interface Units.

BBF(TM) connectors utilize an insulator material with superior electrical performance and a unique three-beam, high-force contact to create a gas tight electrical connection with low return loss and VSWR of 1.2 at 1.5 GHz. The Cinch BBF(TM) (Broadband Frequency) 75 Ohm connector is the highest performing F style connector in the industry.

Available in right angle board configurations and female-to-female adapters, Cinch BBF(TM) products mate reliably with a wide range of F cable connectors at operating temperatures ranging from -40 deg C to +105 deg C. Board connectors have unique ribbed PCB posts that grip the PCB and keep the connector from rocking during wave solder operation.

Developed with high bandwidth voice/video/data applications in mind, BBF(TM) connectors will add performance and reliability at every F-port coaxial connection in a network.
