High Power RF Connectors Finger-Safe Design Isolates Contacts
A new series of quick-release RF coaxial connectors that feature recessed female contacts and a dielectric at the tip of male contacts to protect users is being introduced by TRU Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts.
TRU QRM Series RF Coaxial Connectors are designed for high power applications up to 6,000 Watts @100 MHz avg. and a DC to 4.0 GHz frequency range.
Featuring recessed female center contacts and male contacts which have a dielectric at the tip, these quick-release RF coaxial connectors prevent people from touching the contacts and being exposed to current.
Suitable for industrial, laser, medical, and semiconductor applications, TRU QRM Series RF Coaxial Connectors are rated for 50 ohm impedance and 2,600 Volts. Made from nickel plated brass bodies, silicone rubber gaskets, PTFE insulators, gold plated brass center contacts, and beryllium-copper outer contacts, they are offered as cable plugs, jacks, and receptacles.
