Labsphere offers the OPTRONIK RMS-l0gse Retroreflectometer for measurement of automotive retroreflector. The instrument meets the design requirements of both ECE and SAE. RMS-l0gse offers a complete hardware and software solution for absolute retroreflection measurement, including OPTRONIK OPTO software, which provides a graphical interface with menu driven controls for data acquisition, display and analysis.
The RMS-10gse consists of an illumination projector and receiver for the reflected light. The light source is temperature regulated to standard illuminant A, which means it is immediately ready for use without long burn-in procedures. The unit can be positioned in distances of either 10m (ECE) or 100ft (SAE). A motor driven detector is can be controlled via PC or from the units front panel key-pad to set desired observation angles. In combination with the OPTRONIK SMS-10 goniophotometers, the RMS-lOgse provides accurate measurement of the photometric properties of a varietv of retroreflectors.
