Hypertherm® Introduces New RT60 Retrofit Torch

Hanover, NH, USA - Improved cutting performance and extended consumable life are quaranteed with Hypertherm, Inc.'s new RT60 retrofit torch designed for Powermax® and MAX® systems. The RT60 is designed for mechanized and manual Hypertherm Powermax600/800/900 and MAX42/43 plasma systems.

The capable 60-amp RT60 torch allows users to achieve performance and reliability that is comparable to a Hypertherm G3 Series(TM) system. By incorporating Hypertherm patented and proven technologies, including Coaxial-assist(TM) jet technology and Hypertherm electrode technology, the RT60 results in greater overall productivity.

The RT60's Coaxial-assist jet technology delivers cut speeds up to 32% faster (41 ipm on 1/2" steel). Hypertherm electrode technology promises consumable parts life up to 175% longer. Consistent cut quality is assured by the RT60's patented blow-back contact-start torch technology. In addition, Hypertherm's new FineCut(TM) consumables are available on the RT60 for superior cut results on thin-gauge metals.

The RT60 is based on the Hypertherm T60 torch design and is fully compatible with Hypertherm G3 systems consumables. It is a sound choice for fabricators using original PAC121/123/125(TM) torches and is backed by a one-year torch-and-lead warranty.
