Design Benefits Flow From Viking's New Concealed Residential Sprinkler
HASTINGS, MI - The Viking Corporation, global manufacturer of fire protection systems, has expanded their residential line to include a new 5.2K Concealed Pendent Sprinkler. This joins a full line of Viking residential sprinklers already known for quality and dependability. The K-5.2 Residential Concealed Pendent offers the best flows possible in 18' x 18' (5,5m x 5,5m) and 20' x 20' (6,1m x 6,1m) coverage areas and, due to its larger K factor, its starting pressures can't be beat. Competitive flows are also offered in coverage areas as low as 12' x 12' (3,7m x 3,7m). With a domed cover providing ½" (12,7mm) adjustment, this sprinkler (VK436) is UL and cUL Listed for residential occupancies below smooth, flat, horizontal ceilings. It is approved for 155°F/68°C temperature (135°F/57°C cover plate) and is available in variety of painted finishes. These sprinklers are shipped with a protective plastic cap that protects the sprinklers during shipping, handling and installation. When drywall installation and painting is completed, the cap is pulled off and the concealed cover fits neatly in its place.
