Republic Steel Selects Quintiq Supply Chain Planning & Optimization Solution to Optimize Manufacturing Operations
RADNOR, Pennsylvania - Quintiq, a global leader in Supply Chain Planning and Optimization (SCP&O) software, announced today that Republic Steel, North America's leading supplier of Special Bar Quality (SBQ) steel bars, has selected Quintiq's SCP&O software solution to optimize its steel production planning and scheduling. Republic Steel will implement Quintiq's industry solutions for metals manufacturing, including Quintiq's company planner for campaign planning, order promising, finite capacity planning, and inventory optimization; and Quintiq's scheduler solutions for detailed scheduling and sequencing optimization for melt/cast, hot rolling and finishing operations.
