ATLANTA, September 17, 2002 - Indus International Inc. (NASDAQ: IINT), the leading global supplier of enterprise asset management software and services*, today introduced its new Enterprise Reporting Manager (ERM) tool for Indus EMPAC. ERM enhances the advanced reporting capabilities of EMPAC by enabling seamless integration of custom reports created with a wide range of third-party tools such as Crystal Reports and Business Objects. As a result, customers can incorporate into EMPAC the custom reports created with their favorite report writers -- without the expense and hassles of managing multiple reporting systems.

With ERM, EMPAC users can seamlessly integrate the most popular report writers, including Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access 97 and above, Oracle 2000 Report Developer, SQR 4.3 and application-developed reports such as C++, Power Builder and Visual Basic. ERM can be extended to virtually any reporting tool. Furthermore, because ERM uses Microsoft Windows-based systems for all clients, customers can use popular Windows applications to perform vital business functions for their reports, such as faxing, email and printing.
