MEDER electronic, Inc. today introduced the enhanced micro SIL reed relay. This new package size takes up half the space of a conventional reed relay.
MEDER MS Series Micro SIL Reed Relay measures only 15.2mm x 3.8mm x 6.6mm (0.59" x 0.15" x 0.26"), which allows for tight relay matrix mounting in half the area of standard size relays. The Flat bandwidth and smaller package size makes the MS perfect for ATE systems, the latest medical applications as well as security systems.
Capable of switching up to 10 Watts with individual maximums of 1.0 Amps and 200 Volts; the coil to switch isolation of the MEDER MS series Micro SIL Reed Relay is a minimum of 1500 VDC with a minimum dielectric strength of 250 VDC across the contacts. These reed relays are RoHS compliant, UL, VDE and EN60950 approved.
