Quick Change Recess Milling Attachment Reduces Downtime, Eliminates Chip Problems

Schlitter Tool announces availability of Erickson style spindles as a standard feature on their Rotary Recess Milling Attachments. Erickson style collets minimize runout and allow the use of a wide range of tool diameters without using bushings. Rotary recess milling eliminates 'bird nest' chips typical to recessing operations on screw machines. True milling cutter creates fine chips which flush easily from the part with thru-tool coolant. Advanced design features precision, hardened and ground dovetail slide with tapered steel gib for long life, reliable performance and easy 1-touch adjustment.

Schlitter slides wear in while others wear out. Users will immediately notice that the return springs are enclosed to protect them from chips- eliminating maintenance and improving reliability. Setup people will appreciate the fine infeed adjustment which speeds setup. Recess milling attachments are available for most makes and models of screw machines.
