Raritan's New Solutions for Managing IT Infrastructures and Improving Productivity Shown at Tech-Ed 2007

SOMERSET, N.J., June 4 -- At Tech-Ed 2007, Raritan will be showing its next-generation suite of solutions that improve data center and branch office management including its new Dominion® Serial and KVM-over-IP solutions that help IT teams manage their server racks any time from anywhere.

On a new, easy-to-deploy and scalable appliance platform, the new Dominion KX II KVM-over-IP product delivers more powerful productivity features -- including Universal Virtual Media to conveniently access storage media on remote servers. According to a recent InfoWorld review, "Raritan changes the KVM game. The new Raritan Dominion KX II is slick, fast, and in total control."

Designed to deliver a better user experience to administrators who spend hours at a time in front of a screen managing servers, the Dominion KX II provides the industry's highest remote video resolution (1600 x 1200), Absolute Mouse Synchronization(TM) and a new, intuitive browser-based user interface. For high availability, Dominion KX II comes with dual power supplies and dual gigabit Ethernet ports -- both with automatic failover protection.

Raritan's new Dominion SX serial-over-IP product provides secure, always- available remote access to IT equipment through a secure Java or SSHV2 (Secure Shell) clients. Designed to complement customers' existing IT infrastructures, including firewalls and VPNs, the Raritan out-of-band remote management solution establishes layers of deterrents to block unauthorized access. It is a more secure alternative than in-band troubleshooting tools based on Telnet and SSH services used in many branch offices today.

The Dominion XRO is a complete turnkey solution for managing equipment typically found in remote branch offices. It securely extends the reach of the operations organization to branch offices, helping to reduce maintenance service calls and minimize interruptions of branch office employees, who in the past were asked to help resolve IT equipment issues. It leverages Raritan's KVM-over-IP, Serial-over-IP and remote power control technologies. Apart from servers, switches and routers, the Dominion XRO can also be used to manage POS systems, PBXs, headless servers, other network devices, serial equipment and environmental control devices.

Raritan also will be demonstrating its newest release of its CommandCenter® Secure Gateway centralized access solution that provides a single, easy-to-use interface to manage multiple and diverse remote access and power control methods -- including KVM; serial over IP; virtual KVM access through iLO/RiLOE II, Dell DRAC4 and IBM RSA II embedded solutions; software applications, such as RDP, VNC and SSH; and IPMI.

Also at the show will be the next release of Paragon® II, the market- leading Cat5 KVM switch, which now supports IBM BladeCenter® -- the industry's most widely deployed blade server. Ideal for IT teams and other users that need secure access from a user station to multiple blades and other data center equipment, Paragon II 4.2 provides anytime, non-blocked access, and a rich suite of management features. Paragon II's stellar video resolution (1920 x 1440) is rated the best in the industry.
