Superail Moves Heavy Loads With Little Effort


City of Industry, CA:

Using an array of specially designed heavy-duty double ball bearings the Darnell-Rose "Superail" efficiently moves the heaviest bins, containers and tooling dies through the conveyor line with ease. The "Superail" conveyance system is now available in standard four-foot sections. Each section has a load capacity of 48,000 lbs. (1000 lbs. per lineal inch).

According to Bill Dye, President of Darnell-Rose, "the patented low profile (2" H x 3" W) high impact "Superail" allows installation versatility in conveyor line set ups and can be installed with rollers facing up, down or sideways". Dye further states that "uneven or damaged containers are easily compensated for by the unique floating bearing design of "Superail", thus allowing the load to roll smoothly down the line". Currently in use in the most rugged industrial environments The self-cleaning open track design of Superail allows for continuous operation without lubrication.
