Radiometric Detector is designed for light measurement.

Press Release Summary:

Measuring 20 x 2.5 x 2.5 mm, LDC-319 Micro-Probe operates in remote, limited-space applications that require minimal disturbance to surroundings. It can measure and monitor irradiance from 1 nW/cm² to 3 W/cm² (limited exposures) over 250-1,100 nm spectral range when used in combination with single- or multi-channel optometer. Stainless steel housing makes unit suited for medical use and includes 2.3 x 5 mm RADIN diffuser for cosine corrected measurements.

Micro-Probe for Light Measurement

A new micro size radiometric detector has been developed by Gigahertz-Optik for use in medical and photobiological applications as well as general radiometry.

The LDC-319 Micro-Probe measures only 2.5 mm wide and 2.5 mm high by 20 mm long enabling it to operate in remote limited space applications where minimal disturbance to surroundings is critical.

In combination with a Gigahertz-Optik single or multi-channel optometer irradiance from 1 nanowatt/cm² to 3 watts/cm² (limited exposures) over a broad 250 to 1100 nm spectral range can be measured and monitored.

The micro-probe's stainless steel housing makes it suitable for medical use and includes a 2.3 x 5 mm RADIN diffuser for cosine corrected measurements.

Certification of absolute calibration in watts/cm² at any or all wavelengths between 250 to 1100nm including relative spectral responsivity plot, is supplied for each detector.

The LDC-319 Micro-Probe price is $1690 including calibration.
